Persistent Hyponeural Congestion Disorder (PhCd)

# 27 July 2006, 12:56

A condition of the cerebrum {cer·e·brum n – the front part of the brain, divided into two symmetrical halves (cerebral hemispheres). In humans, it is where activities including reasoning, learning, sensory perception, and emotional responses take place.}

Common among adults over the age of 35, this is a chronic condition which, due to the fact that it impairs the brain’s perceptive abilities, goes unnoticed by the sufferer and can eventually result in almost complete paralysis of the higher functions of the cerebral cortex.

There are four main causes; physical, psychological, environmental and most dangerously; by transmitted infection.

Physical

Many chemical compounds commonly found in substances usually associated with escapism or self gratification and the temporary avoidance of pain, boredom or fear, have long term physical effects on the micro capillaries of the cerebral cortex. As a result of excessive exposure to these ‘doping’ substances, microscopic acidic crystalline compounds precipitate in the blood stream, become trapped and eventually clog the flow of blood and nutrients in the intricate network of capillaries and dendrites that feed the brain’s neural system. The resultant effect on the synaptic array is insidious and self perpetuating as the sufferer unwittingly resorts to further excessive chemical doping in a misguided attempt to alleviate the dominant symptoms.

Psychological

Psychological effects are usually more profound and less easy to measure. There can, however, be no doubt that higher function mental processes can be significantly negatively influenced by prolonged exposure to psychological stress. Consequential mental fatigue causes localised energy field collapse at the cellular level. The resulting cell detritus serves to further clog the already narrowed capillaries while the lymphatic system overcompensates in response, attempting to flush out the rejected DNA. This generates stress in the endocrine system which, in turn contributes further to the cellular decay.

Environmental

The environmental influence is less well documented although there is considerable anecdotal evidence about the negative causal effects of time zone changes, pollution/noise levels and other environmental stress typical of heavily urbanised areas.

Transmitted infection

This is by far the most common vector for propagation. Surprisingly, however, for two distinct and separate reasons; the easiest understood of which is the social tendency to indulge in common behaviour and consumption of the doping substances. That is to say if your mate is severely PhCd he will probably want to go down the pub and get blathered and will employ peer group pressure (“come on, just for a quick one, I told all your mates you’d be coming down, you can’t let me drink alone” etc) to insist that you go too. Next morning you will most likely to be feeling pretty PhCd and are likely to exacerbate your own condition and/or spread it even further before the day is out. In this way entire communities can be suffering from a joint chronic condition for many generations. Entire towns have been PhCd for years. The second and more fascinating form of infection occurs by quantum field generation and the resonant response of the cerebral cortex. In other words, some moody bastards have the ability to force their negative auras onto a whole bunch of people who would otherwise be having quite a good time, thank you very much.

Symptoms

As the cerebrum slowly starts to clog up with the chemical pollutants, the sufferer becomes more and more PhCd and less able to use the higher functions of conscious awareness and begins mental regression. Crystalline precipitation is accelerated and the victim, now dulled and emotionally stupefied, usually turns to more of the damaging substances that originally initiated the process. Creative activity comes to a standstill as do the critical powers of the mind. Endless hours will be spent staring at television screens in the insane expectation that something worthwhile will occur. This is clearly escapist nonsense which unfortunately has the effect of further clogging the by now completely PhCd cerebellum.

Potential cures

  1. Stop getting pissed/stoned or otherwise off your head every night.
  2. Avoid psychological stress by not working with arseholes any more.
  3. Try going to bed early & sober – go on, you can do it.
  4. If you live in a dirty, dangerous and ugly city – move goddammit!
  5. Don’t let people drag you into destructive rounds of so-called ‘social’ events.
  6. Avoid negative bastards like the plague.
  7. Exercise enough every day to get the blood flowing through those shitted up brain capillaries and flush out all the toxins, acid crystals, dead brain cells and negative thoughts.
  8. Concentrate mental energy into the physical act of increasing blood flow into as much of the cerebrum as possible.
